I had a fun mid-week session a couple of days ago with the L family, who had both sets of grandparents in town for a wedding. Mama decided this was the perfect time to get some photos of her little darlin' so everyone could be included. Miss I is a natural at being in front of the camera and is, by FAR, the youngest baby to actually take interest in the images on the LCD screen on my camera when I showed her. This girl is paying attention to life as it's going on around her, let me tell you! Such a watchful girl and a total sweetie.
Thanks, J and V and Baby I (and all the grandparents!!) for the fun afternoon in Golden Gate Park!
Fun quickie session at Crissy Field. We tried this a little while ago and it was cold and windy and baby M was a little sick. Fast forward to this morning...Mother Nature rewarded us with a gorgeous, bright, warm, happy morning.
Did I mention...BRIGHT.
Off to my next session. It's another double-header Saturday! Couldn't have wished for a more beautiful day!
Saturday afternoon's session was with a family I've photographed 3 other times. Can I just say how much I love getting to be a part of a family in this way? I've watched their toddler turn into a little boy (who reads at 4 yrs old!) and seen their family grow with the addition of sweet Baby A (who's gone from newborn to exploring crawler in the blink of an eye). I always have SO much fun with this family because they're just so relaxed and we have no trouble finding stuff to talk about. The time just flies by and before I know it I've filled up several cards worth of images.
M, S, Z and A -- it was wonderful to see you all on Saturday and get caught up! Enjoy the sneak peek. Your gallery will be ready soon!
My sneak peeks are just a littttle overdue. It's been a crazy week so far. Hell, it's been a crazy MONTH! Here's a glimpse at the cutie I had the pleasure of meeting on Saturday morning. (Yes, this ambitious photographer scheduled 2 sessions in one day. I normally reserve that for holiday crunch time!)
Anyway, back to the cutie! This little guy was so chill and so patient (we did 3 outfit changes!), all the while he was teething. LIttle man was really working over that spot in his mouth but only when he got realllly tired after 2 hours did he start to let out some fusses. All that work we made him do on top of growing a new tooth and barely a fuss? Babies are amazing, aren't they? We just take for granted how much they accomplish in a day! Oh, you learned to sit up today? Gained a few ounces? Learned how to turn pages in a book? How to feed yourself? Those are major things! I'm so happy I get to be a part of families' lives while their little ones are hitting these amazing developmental milestones.
Yep. It's definitely a revolution of change with the Obama administration. Sure there are the big things he's doing but there are also a lot of smaller, just-as-brilliant things.
Like having a website. And having a Facebook page. And now... a Flickr page. Woo hoo! Technically the Flickr page is for the White House so it's not inherently "his" photostream. But I mean, really. We all know the idea came from his camp. The thinkers that they are.
